Itinerary

Hanoi – Thung Khe Pass – Pa Co – Pu Luong
Early morning departure for a scenic journey through the heart of Tonkin,
Along the way, stop at Thung Khe Pass, also known as the “White Rock Pass,” to take in a spectacular panoramic view over the Mai Chau valley.
Continue towards Pa Co village, renowned for its traditional textile craftsmanship.
There is also an opportunity to unwind in a natural hot spring, a well – deserved moment of relaxation.
Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Pa Co.
In the afternoon, the journey continues towards the Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
Two rice harvests per year give ever – changing landscapes:
- January – February: flooded fields reflecting the sky – rice is just beginning to grow.
- March – April: the paddies are a vibrant green – Pu Luong at its lushest!
- May: the fields turn golden, painting the valley in warm hues.
- June: harvest time! Families are busy cutting rice, a beautiful sight of conical hats, bamboo baskets, and sickles at work.

Begin your trek Pu Luong Nature Reserve, where nature reveals its purest beauty and life moves at a gentle pace.
Walk through quiet Thai villages like Don Village and Leo Village, surrounded by rice terraces and bamboo – covered hills.
Continue to Kho Muong (10 km), a secluded valley embraced by limestone mountains, where time seems to slow down.
Explore the fascinating Bat Cave (Hang Dơi)
Visit Hieu Waterfall, one of the most beautiful and untouched waterfalls in the region. Trek along scenic trails through rice terraces and bamboo groves to reach the cascading falls,
Explore the vegetable gardens and discover the various herbs used in traditional Vietnamese medicine, gaining a deeper insight into the connection between the land and local healing practices.
Overnight at a hotel

In the morning, enjoy a peaceful bamboo raft ride along a calm river winding through the valley.
This tranquil journey allows you to take in the unspoiled beauty of Pu Luong, where mountains, fields, and open skies come together in harmony.
Then, marvel at the traditional water wheels built by the Thai ethnic group.
Continue with a walk through the rice fields, crossing small rivers and visiting local villages while enjoying the picturesque landscapes along the way.
In the afternoon, return to Hanoi.
