Itinerary

  • Your adventure in Vietnam has started:

    • Upon arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed then privately transferred by a professional driver and an English – speaking guide to your arranged hotel for relaxation.

    In the afternoon, enjoy a one – hour cyclo ride to explore:

    • The charming colonial district.
    • Hoan Kiem Lake and its legendary story, along with Ngoc Son Temple.
    • The labyrinth of bustling streets filled with small shops in the famous and fascinating "Old Quarter," including the famous Silk Street (Hang Gai).

    Take a walking tour to discover:

    • Walking through the iconic Old Quarter.
    • Colonial architecture

  • Begin your journey by unravelling the Vietnamese culture and history in the Vietnamese capital:

    • Start the day at the Ho Chi Minh Complex and Ba Dinh Square. The visit includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda.
    • Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, beautifully located on a small peninsula beside West Lake, and Quan Thanh Temple situated on the Truc Bach Lake shore.
    • Visit the Temple of Literature.
    • Explore the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.
    • Grab a Vietnamese coffee while waiting for the train to pass by at the Train Street. 

    In the evening, enjoy a Water Puppet Show.

    Around 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM, private transfer to Hanoi Railway station for the night train to Lao Cai.

  • Arrive early in the morning at Lao Cai Train Station where your guide will welcome and transfer you to a hotel to rest and have breakfast.

    Then, private transfer to Sapa for a full day of trekking through spectacular mountain scenery and vibrant local culture.

    Day of trekking in the Sapa region

    • Set off from Y Linh Ho Village, nestled in the stunning Muong Hoa Valley.
    • Enjoy a 6 – kilometer trek through terraced rice fields to the village of Lao Chai, home to the Black H’Mong ethnic group.
    • After a well – deserved lunch break, continue with a gentle 2 – kilometer walk to the village of Ta Van, inhabited by the Giay ethnic group.

  • Trekking to discover the ethnic villages around the area of Topas Ecolodge. Located 20 km from Sapa, the Thanh Kim valley.

    • After 3 hours of walking, you will reach Lech village, home to the Red Dao and H'mong. You will explore the village, meet its inhabitants, learn about their way of life, customs, and typical houses.
    • Enjoy lunch in the village, then trekking to Topas Ecolodge.
    • Free time to enjoy the breathtaking landscape and hot & cold swimming infinity pool of Topas Ecolodge.

    In the afternoon, transfer by BUS back to Hanoi.

  • Ha Noi – Ninh Binh: 2h30 drive, visit Tam Coc + Bich Dong

    Leave the bustling streets of Hanoi behind and journey south to Ninh Binh. Nestled in the ancient land of Hoa Lu.

    • Stop at Hoa Lu, once the cradle of Vietnamese royalty. Wander through the atmospheric temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties.
    • Tam Coc is home to the country’s first capital called Hoa Lu.
    • Board a traditional sampan for a peaceful 2 – hour ride along the Ngo Dong River. Glide through the still waters and pass through the mysterious Tam Coc caves.
    • The specialty of Ninh Binh is goat meat and crispy rice.
    • Cycle through the countryside to reach Bich Dong Pagoda. If time allows and you're feeling adventurous, you can climb the stone – carved staircase leading to the pagoda Mua.

    Overnight at a homestay.

  • Tam Coc – Halong: 3.5 – 4 hours drive

    You will be privately transferred from Tam Coc to Halong Bay by a professional driver and an English – speaking guide. Welcome aboard!

    • Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard, and safety briefing.
    • Check in to your private cabin.
    • Enjoy lunch onboard while taking in the stunning views of Lan Ha Bay.
    • Visit the Dark and Bright Cave of Lan Ha Bay. Go kayaking .
    • Back to junk for refreshing and enjoying your relaxing time on the sundeck.
    • Anchor for an overnight stay at Tra Bau.
    • Experience our Vietnamese authentic cooking demonstration before having dinner on board.
    • Enjoy Happy Hour at a panoramic bar.

    Dinner: Savor fresh seafood with an exquisite menu of carefully crafted dishes, beautifully presented, and served by qualified staff.

    Free evening or try squid fishing.

  • Wake up early to take a morning exercise with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.

    • Have breakfast in the fresh air.
    • Take a bus to Trung Trang cave in Cat Ba island, located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest.
    • Return to the boat.
    • Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor while brunch is served.
    • The entire crew will greet you and thank you as you arrive at the port at 11h.
    • Transfer back to Hanoi.

    Transfer by private car with driver to Hanoi airport for the flight to Hue.

    Upon arrival, you will be welcomed then privately transferred to the hotel.

    • Visit the Imperial City of the Nguyen Dynasty.
    • Enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the famous Perfume River, heading to the Thien Mu Pagoda (Pagoda of the Celestial Lady).
    • Explore the tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty.
    • Visit the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang.
    • At lunchtime, our guide will be happy to take you to one of the best local spots to try Hue's specialties.
    • Hue is renowned for its exquisite Ao Dai. Take a stroll through the Dong Ba market.
    • In a nearby village, discover the art of incense – making.
    • Visit Thuy Xuan Village, admire the meticulous craftsmanship behind the iconic "poetry hat".

  • Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An : 122 km – 3.5h – 4h drive

    The journey to Hoi An takes you along the scenic Mandarin Route, crossing the famous Cloudy Pass.

    A detour to Danang will bring you to the Cham Sculpture Museum

    Next, you’ll explore the Marble Mountains, also known as the "Five Hills".

    Climb the 156 steps or take an elevator to reach the summit of Thuy Son Mountain, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Marble Mountains and the surrounding countryside.

    Take in the breath of fresh air that is the riverside port town of Hoi An. The historic and quaint Hoi An is perfect for exploring :

    • A delightful stroll through the old town of Hoi An.
    • Explore the ancient port of Hoi An with a short walk.

  • Transfer for a nautical adventure in the water coconut village of Cam Thanh. This round basket boat, called THUYEN THUNG.

    You’ll watch the artisans at work and be amazed at how well it withstands the gentle waves of Hoi An. 

    Accompanied by your skilled rower, you’ll glide for 30 minutes along the river. 

    Then, it will be time to “roll up your sleeves” and prepare your lunch with a local family.

    This heartwarming encounter with a local family will conclude with a relaxing foot massage using herbs from Hoi An.

    You’ll return to your hotel by bike, filled with the joy of an unforgettable day.

  • Enjoy your free time until heading by private car to the airport in Da Nang for your flight to Siem Reap.

  • Arriving in Angkor Thom by tuk – tuk :

    • Visit the Victory Gate.
    • Visit the Bayon.
    • Visit the three – tiered Baphuon .
    • Visit the Royal Enclosure and its small temple, Phimeanakas. 
    • Pass through the Terrace of the Elephants
    • See the Terrace of the Leper King

    Discover the impressive Ta Prohm temple.

    Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist temple featuring four concentric walls, offering a serene and reflective atmosphere.

    Visit the majestic Angkor Wat temple with exquisite bas – reliefs, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

  • After having breakfast, head to Phnom Kulen.

    Stroll through the forest to discover Kbal Spean, the River of a Thousand Lingas. Go further, you will see beautiful waterfalls where you can immerse yourself in the fresh water and swim.

    Visit Banteay Srei (Hindu, 10th century), also called "The Citadel of Women".

  • Finding yourself surrounded by a completely aquatic landscape of Kampong Khleang Village.

    • Appreciate panoramic views. Gap at the vast Tonle Sap Lake as you sail across it.
    • Tonle Sap has been listed as a World Natural Heritage Site since 1997.

    Free time until heading to the airport in Siem Reap for your flight to Phnom Penh.

    You will be welcomed upon arrival at the airport by your driver, followed by a transfer to your hotel.

    • Enter a world of visual wonder, starting with the National Museum of Fine Arts’ sculpture collection.

    In the afternoon,

    • Be educated about the nation’s past at the Museum of Genocidal Crime, which was the S – 21 prison.
    • Take in the sombre atmosphere of the camp Choeng Ek Killing Field, outside Phnom Penh, the final resting place of many Cambodian people, murdered by the brutal Khmer Rouge regime.
    • If time allows, meander through the Central Market.

    Embark on a 4 – hour cruise to Vietnam.

    Arrival at Chau Doc, meet upon disembarking, and transfer to the hotel.

    Discover Chau Doc and its Chinese, Cham, and Khmer communities.
