Itinerary

  • Your adventure in Vietnam has started:

    • Upon arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed then privately transferred by a professional driver and an English – speaking guide to your arranged hotel for relaxation.
    • Learn about Vietnamese culture while enjoying good quality Vietnamese coursing and let the excitement begin!

    In the afternoon, enjoy a one – hour cyclo ride to explore:

    • The charming colonial district with its leafy avenues.
    • Hoan Kiem Lake and its legendary story, along with Ngoc Son Temple, nestled in the middle of the lake.
    • The labyrinth of bustling streets filled with small shops in the famous and fascinating "Old Quarter," including the famous Silk Street (Hang Gai).

    To immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Hanoi, take a walking tour to discover:

    • Walking through the iconic Old Quarter.

    Begin your journey by unravelling the Vietnamese culture and history in the Vietnamese capital:

    • Start the day at the Ho Chi Minh Complex and Ba Dinh Square, 
    • The visit includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from the outside), Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, 
    • Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, 
    • Visit the Temple of Literature, 
    • Explore the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, 
    • Grab a Vietnamese coffee while waiting for the train to pass by at the Train Street. 

    In the evening, enjoy a Water Puppet Show – a traditional and ancient art form that is unique to Vietnam.

  • Hanoi – "Halong Bay on land" – Hanoi – NIGHT TRAIN – LAO CAI

    Leave the bustling streets of Hanoi behind and journey south to Ninh Binh,

    • Board a traditional sampan for a peaceful 2-hour ride along the Ngo Dong River, 
    • Glide through the still waters and pass through the mysterious Tam Coc caves, known as “The Three Caves,” each echoing with ancient legends.
    • The specialty of Ninh Binh is goat meat and crispy rice.
    • Cycle through the countryside to reach Bich Dong Pagoda, 
    • Wrap up your journey in Hoa Lu, once the cradle of Vietnamese royalty. Wander through the atmospheric temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties, surrounded by the echoes of a thousand years of history.
    • Drive back to Hanoi at the end of day.

    Around 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM, private transfer to Hanoi Railway station for the night train to Lao Cai.

  • Lao Cai – Arrival (By train) – SAPAY Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa

    Arrive early in the morning at Lao Cai Train Station where your guide will welcome and transfer you to a hotel to rest and have breakfast before starting a new day of discovery.

    Then, transfer by private vehicle to Sapa (1h drive).

    Private transfer to Sapa for a full day of trekking through spectacular mountain scenery and vibrant local culture.

    Day of trekking in the Sapa region – Encounters with ethnic minorities among rice terraces

    • Set off from Y Linh Ho Village, nestled in the stunning Muong Hoa Valley,
    • Enjoy a 6 – kilometer trek through terraced rice fields to the village of Lao Chai, home to the Black H’Mong ethnic group. 
    • Continue with a gentle 2 – kilometer walk to the village of Ta Van, inhabited by the Giay ethnic group.

  • Sapa – Ma Tra – Ta Phin – BAC HA – Homestay

    • Trekking through the breathtaking mountain landscapes where terraced rice fields cascade along the hillsides. Sapa, a former French hill station founded in the early 20th century, is home to more than 30 ethnic minority groups and boasts the highest peak in Vietnam – Mount Fansipan, standing tall at 3,143 meters above sea level.
    • Visit Ma Tra Village, inhabited by the Black H’Mong, and continue to Ta Phin Village, where the Red Dao people maintain their rich cultural heritage.

    Transfer to Bac Ha, home of the Flower Hmong, for your overnight stay.

  • Bac Ha Market (Only Sunday) – Ban Pho – Sapa – BUS – Hanoi

    Every Sunday, the town of Bac Ha comes alive with the most colorful and authentic market in northern Vietnam. 

    Here, you’ll encounter Flower H’Mong, Tay, and Phu La people, all gathering in a dazzling display of colors and culture. 

    The market is a feast for the senses – vibrant, bustling, and full of life.

    In the afternoon, explore Ban Pho Village, home to both colorfully dressed H’Mong and Tay people.

    In the late afternoon, your guide will take you to the bus station in Sapa for the 5 – hour journey back to Hanoi.

  • Hanoi – Bai Tu Long Bay UNESCO Label – CRUISE and NIGHT Onboard

    • Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port, welcome aboard, and safety briefing.
    • Check in to your private cabin.
    • Enjoy lunch onboard while taking in the stunning views of Bai Tu Long Bay.
    • Visit Thien Canh Son Cave, where you can explore the natural beauty of the cave with unique stalactites formed over thousands of years.
    • Join a kayaking excursion to discover the limestone islands in the bay.
    • Back to junk for refreshing and enjoying your relaxing time on the sundeck.
    • Join a Vietnamese cooking class.

    Dinner: Savor fresh seafood with an exquisite menu of carefully crafted dishes, beautifully presented, and served by qualified staff.

    After dinner, free evening or experience squid fishing before retiring.

    Overnight on board

  • Enjoy the morning view of the beautiful landscape with a cup of coffee or tea. Have breakfast in the fresh air.

    • Visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village by kayak or local rowboat. Discover the cultural life of fishermen and learn how to drive a boat under the instruction of local people, or have a fisherman rowing boat for you.
    • Back to the boat.
    • Check out of the cabin and start cruising towards the harbor while a set lunch is served.
    • The entire crew will greet you and thank you as you arrive at the port at 11h30.
    • Transfer back to Hanoi.

    Transfer by private car with driver to Hanoi airport for the flight to Hue.

    Upon arrival, you will be welcomed then privately transferred to the hotel.

    • Visit the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, w

  • Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An: 135 km - 2h30

    The journey to Hoi An takes you along the scenic Mandarin Route, crossing the famous Cloudy Pass.

    A detour to Danang will bring you to the Cham Sculpture Museum, founded by the French School of the Far East in 1919.

    Next, you’ll explore the Marble Mountains, also known as the "Five Hills," with each peak representing one of the five elements of the Earth: Water, Metal, Earth, Wood, and Fire.

    Climb the 156 steps or take an elevator to reach the summit of Thuy Son Mountain,

    Take in the breath of fresh air that is the riverside port town of Hoi An. The historic and quaint Hoi An is perfect for exploring :

    • A delightful stroll through the old town of Hoi An,
    • Explore the ancient port of Hoi An with a short walk

    • Transfer by private car to the airport in Da Nang for the flight to HCM City.

    Once known as Saigon, 

    • Start your visit today by exploring Dong Khoi Area in the center of the city 
    • Then it's on to a visit to the Saigon Central Post Office, 
    • Step into the pages of Vietnam’s recent history at the Reunification Palace, where the fall of Saigon was sealed by the crash of Northern tanks through its gates on April 30, 1975 – a powerful and symbolic moment in time.

    Departure for the lush landscapes of the Mekong Delta

    • Arrival in Ben Tre, one of the Mekong River’s branches.

    • Visit a traditional brick – making workshop, 
    • Uncover the traditional art of making rice paper,

    Before leaving, wander through the lively market of Can Tho, filled with local flavors and produce, before driving back to HCM City in the late afternoon.

    Transfer by private car to the airport in HCM City for your flight to Siem Reap.

    You will be welcomed upon arrival at the airport, followed by a transfer to your hotel.
