    Early morning departure for Maeklong Railway Market, one of the most unusual markets in Thailand. Selling vegetables, fruits and other food products, it looks like any other street market in Thailand - until a passenger train whizzes through the middle. When the siren sounds, the stalls disperse and make way.

    Then departure for the famous Damnoen Saduak floating market, to soak up the amazing spectacle of this colorful market where peasant women still come to trade fruits and vegetables from their frail boats. It is reached by boat via the klongs, sailing at the foot of the houses on stilts.

    Then we continue the road to the city of Kanchanaburi. On arrival, visit the World War II Memorial, including the Jeath War Museum, cemetery. Visit the Bridge of Kwai.Then, embark on a train ride along the Death Railway, railway lovers will be able to travel on one of the historical routes of Southeast Asia, the remaining part of the “Death Railway”.

  • Chiang Rai, a delightful city with its relaxed atmosphere and stunning local food:

    • Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Phra Kaew Temple); where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Now it is replaced by a jade Buddha image that was made to commemorate the 90th birthday of the late Princess Mother.
    • Blue Temple (Rong Sued Ten Temple); designed by the local Chiang Rai artist who used to work with the White Temple team before. The main building of the temple is in a distinctive blue color with the new philosophy of Buddhist art.
    • The Black House, (Baandum Museum); belongs to the national artist Thawan Dachanee who is famous for his strange sculptures made of horns and bones, reptile skins, traditional African sculptures, old boats, Lanna-style woodwork and art installations spread across 32 buildings, most of which are Lanna-style pavilions made of black wood…
    • Visit the White Temple, Wat Rong Khun. This temple, although very recent, is the most visited monument in the region, the work of the Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, started in 1997. Its creator himself announces that it will not be completed until 60 to 90 years after his death. Its particularity, its immaculate whiteness, makes it a unique temple.
    • In the afternoon, a cruise on the Mae Kok River from Chiang Rai to the village of Karen where you can observe the elephants or feed them.

  • Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai: 245 km - 5h

    You will depart this morning to visit the famous Golden Triangle where the borders of three countries; Thailand, Laos and Myanmar are united. Admire the golden Buddha statue and the panoramic view of the Mekong River.

    Then visit the Opium Museum, a small museum with historical exhibits about opium cultivation including all the instruments used for planting, harvesting and all the information about the dangers of opium.

    Visit the ancient city of Chiang Saen, where the ruins of many temples, stupas, Buddha images are still visible. Artifacts and archaeological findings are exhibited at the National Museum.

    Then you will drive to Chiang Mai. On the way, we will visit Mae Kha Jan. The hot spring is divided into three thermal springs. The average temperature is about 80 degrees Celsius; it can boil eggs in less than 3 minutes. In front of Mae Kha Jan hot spring there are many private mineral baths.

    You will arrive in Chiang Mai at the end of the day. Check in to your accommodation.

    • The National Museum (the former Royal Palace) which presents a collection of personal objects of the royal family.
    • Vat Xieng Thong, is the center of a small religious complex (chapel of the sacred Buddha, Pavilion of the royal funeral chariot), considered the most beautiful Buddhist temple in Luang Prabang due to its elegance of superimposed roofs that descend to the ground, Vat Aham, one of the main sanctuaries of the city dedicated to the ancestors of the Laos.
    • The temple of Vat Mai, Buddhist temple, the largest and most richly decorated of the temples of Luang Prabang was the residence of a Buddhist patriarch until 1975.
    • Visit of a textile gallery Ock Pop Tok which will explain its cooperation in projects with small villages concerning the breeding of silkworms, the production of silk, weaving, dyeing (Lao silk: WILD SILK 100% artisanal).

    At the end of the afternoon, you embark on board the Nava Mekong, a traditional boat configured for navigation along the Mekong. Enjoy the sumptuous landscapes that change color as the sun sets on the Mekong with the mountains in the background. Dinner is punctuated by a demonstration of traditional ethnic dances and music. The cruise ends around 9 p.m.

    • Pass through the village of Ban Houn Xay
    • Brief stop at Phoukhoune village, a commercial hub along National Route 13, built during the French protectorate era

    • 13 km from the city, visit a series of caves known as the Tham Sang Triangle: Elephant Cave (Tham Sang), Tham Hoi, and Tham Nams. The Elephant Cave (Tham Sang) contains several Buddha statues as well as an elephant-shaped stalactite. Tham Hoi is guarded by a large Buddha effigy while Tham Loup contains imposing stalactites. Finally, Tham Nam, 500 meters long, can be explored on foot, or with the help of an inner tube during the rainy season
