Hanoi to Vang Vieng

Traveling by plane from Hanoi to Vang Vieng is the fastest way to travel, but quite expensive. After landing in Vientiane, you continue to catch a bus from the airport and travel about 150 km to reach Vang Vieng. The Noi Bai – Vientiane flight lasts more than an hour, with a price of 100-300 USD.

Phnom Penh to Vang Vieng

The fastest way to get to Laos from Cambodia is to take a flight from Phnom Penh International Airport to Wattay International Airport in Vientiane. There are several flights available on this route, and the flight duration is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours with the cost from 150-300 USD for Economy class. Then you continue to take the bus from Vientiane to Vang Vieng.
